Arugula

“Arugula” is an unusual piece, and can be used as a companion with “The Gradual Unfolding of Time“, as they are of the same size and similar materials.  The ceramic frame, as well a ceramic-and-glass inclusion made by the artist’s mother, Roberta Mitchell, are unique, as is the use of dressmaker’s pins.  Everything about the piece suggests the sharp and complex, earthy flavor of arugula.

This piece can be shipped, but it requires custom-constructed packing in order not to dislodge the pins during transit.  Please contact the artist about shipping.  She will hand-deliver in the central Texas area, or to other locales in which she is traveling.
