I have started a new blog, in addition to “From the Top of the Cliff”.  It is called “The Home Archaeology Report” and is meant primarily for my own family members.  I have a rather sizable stash of family mementos that I would like to share.  However, anyone who wants to open a window into the past might enjoy my entries on this new blog because they will include letters from the 1870’s on, as well as old store receipts, photos, newspaper clippings, etc. from the 1850’s and forward.  I will continue both blogs in parallel, but “Top of the Cliff” will remain my observations relating in some way to the art I make, and “Archaeology” will be family history.   http://shovelmaster.wordpress.com
