Rhythm ‘n’ Blues Plate Special

This plate is full of fun and puns.  It was made for a music-themed art show, and so was made with jazz or rhythm ‘n’ blues in mind.  It has organically-shaped fused glass inclusions, as well as glazed ceramic ones made by the artist’s mother, Roberta Mitchell.  You can see the syncopation, as well as the smoothness in the glass.  Sometimes staccato, sometimes legato, the sound moves round and round.
